Birth of the Mother

This connection-

a bond, unlike any other

To a child I have yet to meet

Yet he knows my voice so intimately

Even without understanding the words I speak

And although made from my body

I am not his creator

But made in the image of God

Learning to co-create with every step I take

Witnessing The Great I Am at work within me

Entrusted with this little miracle evolving

Choosing to abide solely in Him

Ever connected in this beautiful mystery

Woven together like a spiritual tapestry

My child to me, and I to Him

Where I find no beginning or end

For at each end is a new beginning

In this prophetic illustration of God and man

Where my child exists in all that I am

Abiding in me, in every day

Yet knowing my presence in so many different ways

Until soon the day will come

The end, and a new beginning

Where two great births come from one another-

One a newborn baby,

And the other, a mother.
